Peanut Butter Blossoms
Happy Friday shoppers! It’s December and I haven’t decorated my house, and not one present has been bought. I’m driving to Tennessee today to a baby shower with my daughter Allie so I don’t think it’s going to get done this weekend either!  Breathe deep – I can do this!

Last year I posted my favorite, time tested, most requested, holiday goodies. They’re worth re-posting in this holiday compilation album so order now, operators are standing by! (Sorry – shopping must really be on my mind today) I’ll start baking next week but want to show you what I’ll be mixing up. And … for one lucky winner … a box of homemade chocolate fudge, peanut butter fudge and English toffee will be mailed directly to you for your enjoyment! Sorry to all my vegan friends and readers – but these goodies are direct from the butter and sugar department. This is just a small way to say thanks for such a fun and enjoyable year blogging, new friendships, sharing successes and all this wonderful kitchen excitement!

I hope you find something new and wonderful to try!

Burnt Sugar Almonds
English Toffee
Click on the links to see the step by step instructions and recipes.
And don’t forget to leave a comment so you will be entered to win homemade chocolate fudge, peanut butter fudge and English toffee!  Post your comment before midnight, Eastern Standard Time on Friday December 9th and let us all know what’s your favorite holiday goodie.  Please feel free to post a link to your blog in the comments section too.  Also … for an extra chance to win, become a ‘follower’ of this blog or sign up for email notifications.  Leave a comment saying you’re a follower or have signed up for email or do both!  This gives you an extra chance to win!  The winner will be announced on Saturday morning, December 10th.
It’s hard for me to believe but I’m posting pie No. 49 on Monday.  I’m still working in the nut department so check back to see what we have for you.
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Tricia, while I have not tried your recipe for English toffee, my very favorite treat at this time of year is my friend Carla's English toffee. She makes it in small batches, and it's always delicious–crisp, sweet, nutty. I have not the patience to use a candy thermometer as she does, so whenever she shares some, it is a gift from her heart–a labor of love, and we savor each bite!

I'm a local follower with a penchant for chocolate…fudge is a holiday tradition for us, my son in particular. My daughter always asks for homemade cinnamon buns on Christmas morning. All your treats look yummy!
