A wonderful roundup of Irish recipes and Travel Posts and St. Patrick’s Day inspired fun!
I’ve always loved all things Irish, and green, it’s in my blood.  After a few trips to the Emerald Isle my heart was filled with fabulous memories of the amazing, friendly, generous people, and their delicious, iconic dishes.  During our adventures in Ireland we found our favorite meals in the pubs and B&B’s.  You don’t need a fancy hotel to be served delicious stews, warms breads, fresh fish and vegetables, and the best dairy products ever!
St. Patrick’s Day is here so I’ve rounded up some amazing Irish and St. Patrick’s Day inspired recipes from a few of my favorite bloggers.  Desserts, breads, stews & soups, meaty mains, casseroles, dips & drinks – it’s all covered!  I have to admit … anything with Guinness, Bailey’s Irish Cream or Jameson Whiskey has my immediate attention.  So if you’re like me, I know there’s something here that will inspire you to celebrate the bounty with friends and family.

Oh, so many beautiful photos of food! Did you ever have a boxty? I had one at The Boxty House in Dublin – it wasn’t touristy – and it was really fabulous food. We mostly dined at pubs, but gastropubs, and not the ones with the buffets, and everything was wonderful. I even spotted some of the same sights in your Ireland photos. Such a beautiful country.
